✨June 29th, 2023 - Thursday Thought ~ The Unknown✨
Good Morning Mystics!
The Unknown has always freaked me out a bit. I'm not a fan of uncertainty, either. These feelings really began January of 2022 when I was fresh out of University—not yet graduated—and I needed to figure out what my next step(s) were. The uncertainty and unknown factors of everything around me were hard to deal with. It's not every day you're suddenly not a student attending an institution anymore. (I firmly believe we remain students throughout our life because we can always learn!)

But through the inner work I've been doing, and following my personal journey, I've come to understand the unknown and uncertainty differently. Yes, they can both be scary. But there's something about leaning into the mystery of it all. Of that unknown...of not knowing what's going to happen, or where life is going to take me. Last week's Thursday Thought, I really delved into surrender and trust, and that's really how to approach the unknown and uncertainty.

We may not always know where things are going, but following the guidance, the signs, the direction life takes you—where you most want to go—brings so many amazing things into your life. And this is something I'm deeply learning to trust and surrender to.

Of course, the flow of life has its cycles—the ups and the downs. And in this weaving of the unknown and uncertainty, it can feel like things aren't going anywhere and not so amazing things are happening. On the other hand, it can feel like so many amazing things are happening, and things are moving fast. It depends where you are in any given cycle.

As for myself, I am in an upward cycle. It's not without its challenges, but I'm living in the present moment. I'm taking everything day by day and letting life, my soul, take me where I'm guided. I'm receiving the guidance and acting on it, which makes all the difference. Once things are finalized, I can't wait to share some exciting news with you all!
