Weekly Guidance

On a marbled black background with an intricate design in holographic pink foil are two cards. The first card on a matte black background inlaid with holographic pink foil is the Six of Talismans and shows six coin-like pentacles that have the shape of a bracelet with a centre piece and a moon at the top. The second card with the same background and foil is the Eight of Talismans which shows another intricately designed bracelet.

✨April 22nd - 28th, 2024 Weekly Guidance✨

Good Morning Mystics!

It's been a bit (again) since I've posted. I'm still in the midst of selling and moving, and it's been thing after thing, let me tell you. But, I'm collaborating with a fellow tarot reader, @truemoonintuitive on Instagram, on the Taurus Tarot Challenge. It consists of daily prompts based on astrological correspondences on that day—so, I figured if I'm doing daily posts, I might as well come back and do my weekly guidance posts. Nothing like jumping and posting like crazy, am I right?

Anyways, let's get to our cards for the week: the Six of Talismans and the Eight of Talismans (Talismans = Pentacles!). Together, the cards indicate a lot of focus and hard work has been put into something particular. It could be a creative project, a business project, or even a new state of being. You've really been building those skills and working hard on this craft which you should be so proud of! The Six of Talismans asks, "Have you made sure to give yourself a break?"

When we're working towards something important to us, sometimes it can take up our entire focus and we forget to invest in other areas of our life. We forget to give to ourselves because we've been giving so much to the project we're working on. Now, this isn't a bad thing, necessarily—it just means we might not be as excited and eager to start something new when we've finished because we didn't take breaks along the way. By making sure we give to ourselves during the process, we can finish strong with energy to be excited and continue to the next thing—after well deserved celebration and rest!

One a background of black marbled with some white and a decorative pink holographic foil is a single card. The card is the Prince of Elixirs and shows a vial that's been decorated with sun, stars, and leaves. This court card represents the Knight of Cups

And, I decided to include the bottom pile energy card, the Prince of Elixirs (Knight of Cups), as it really drove home the main message from the main two cards. As an energy to embody, it's okay to take time away from what you're working towards. This can apply to personal creative projects, projects you want to see in the world, states of being that you're creating, new career opportunities, etc. It's about actively working toward your goals / dreams while making sure to have a methodical, flow-like approach. It's not meant to be rushed, but enjoyed. You're not running out of time—it will happen!

You're already showing up for it—don't forget to show up for yourself and take care of yourself along the way!

Note: This is a general weekly guidance reading for the collective which means it won't resonate with everyone. Take what does and leave the rest. Trust your intuition!
