Weekly Guidance

On a gold and orange background rests two cards. The first card is the Princess of Cups written in German, and it depicts a woman giving a swan a drink. Her crown sits on the rock bed beside her. The Second card is the five of Wands written in German, and it shows two characters scaling a mountain with the wands or torches at night.

✨August 28th - September 3rd, 2023 Weekly Guidance✨

Good Morning Mystics!

I love the contrast between the two cards that have come out for our weekly guidance. The gentle tenderness, warmth, and light of the Princess (Page) of Cups compared to the grit, determination, and twilight of the Five of Torches (Wands).

Traditionally, the five of torches depicts the characters clashing together in conflict because no one will budge. It's like a block, no movement. Walden's depiction offers more insight into this card because the characters experience difficulties by climbing a mountain at night with only their torches to guide them. This adds to the difficultly of their journey which can cause internal and external conflict. But they're still going because they have a goal to reach and they won't let this stop them!

Throughout the week you are being guided to maintain a sense of compassion, love, and innocence as you make strides toward your goals. Now more than ever you need to dig down, dig deep, and really push—but not so hard you lose steam. It's a give and a take: work hard for a bit then take some time to relax and give back to yourself. Acknowledge the accomplishments you've made and your progress. It's no small feat.

Sometimes we can't always see what lies before us on our journey. We can try planning and preparing for everything, but we are bound to miss something. Life isn't meant to be "planned" in the sense that we need room for other forces (divine forces) to come in and help us, as well as surprises to come into our lives. Our vision can carry us, but we need the hard work to back it up. And if we miss something or need to back track, that's where the compassion comes in. The light. It's okay if we need to take a break or reorganize before we continue on our journey. That's the cycle of life.

And lately, I've been finding that even if you don't know where you're headed, if you can't envision it, you'll still find yourself where you're meant to be along the way. The world just aligns.

Note: This is a general weekly guidance reading for the collective which means it won't resonate with everyone. Take what does and leave the rest. Trust your intuition!
